Happy 2nd Birthday!

On March 18th my baby turned 2 years old! I still can’t believe it. I fully intend to write a birthday post, but unfortunately I’m a bit consumed with my class work. I’ve got like a 60 page research proposal due on Sunday, and in the mean time I’ve managed to hurt my back. We start a meeting at church tomorrow night and I’m having an epidural injection on Thursday. Timing could not be better. Since it’s going to be a while until I finish Jake’s birthday post, I will at least post some pictures. Stay tuned…

Since I’ve decided to write one monthly letter to both boys every month I’ve come to the conclusion that it would be easier for me to just put it on my website instead of this one or Max’s. That doesn’t mean that I still won’t post on here, because I’ve actually been thinking about that too. I’m always posting random things Max and Jake do on my Facebook page, and since not everyone has access to that, I’m going to post random things on here that pertain to Jake. Here’s something that recently happened:

So last Sunday morning we were sitting in church and I started to get a whiff of something stinky. So I leaned down to Jake and whispered in his ear, “Did you poop?” He turned around and looked right at me and said a little too loudly and energetically, “TOOT!” Sure enough, he was right.

Here’s a link to my website, in case you don’t know it.

January 6, 2011

Dear Max & Jake, The month of December seemed to go by very quickly. I ended up going to the emergency room three different times because I was having some pretty severe pain right under my rib cage on the right side of my body. After multiple tests it was determined that it was probably [...]
